On foot
- The Cathedral is easily accessible on foot from central Santiago de Compostela through the streets of the historic quarter. It is one of the city's main landmarks and is well signposted from different areas.
By public transport
- Urban bus services provide connections to the historic centre from different neighbourhoods, the intermodal station and other parts of Santiago. From the stops closest to the old town, continue on foot for the final few minutes.
By car
- Private vehicle access around the Cathedral is restricted due to the pedestrianised historic centre. It is advisable to use one of the public car parks surrounding the city centre and continue to the Cathedral on foot.
From the train and bus station
- Santiago de Compostela's intermodal station is relatively close to the historic centre. From there, you can continue by urban bus, taxi or on foot to the Cathedral.
