Puy du Fou España Kicks Off Its 2026 Season Aiming for Historic Record: Targeting 1.9 Million Visitors!
Saturday, March 7, 2026, Puy du Fou España officially launched its most ambitious season to date. After closing 2025 with record-breaking figures —1.72 million visitors and revenue exceeding 70 million euros—, the Toledo-based historical theme park is now targeting to surpass 1.9 million visitors and come very close to the 2-million milestone.During the official presentation, CEO Olivier Strebelle stated that “the 2026 season represents a true turning point”. The goal is clear: keep growing, perfect every detail of the visitor experience, and establish Puy du Fou España as a major national cultural brand.Key highlights for 2026 include:
  • Over 190 opening days (185 confirmed days until January 5, 2027), including 19 magical Christmas days.
  • Improvements and updates across all daytime and nighttime shows.
  • The epic return of “El Sueño de Toledo” (Spain’s largest show) starting March 19, with over 160 performances scheduled and record-breaking production values.
  • A major nationwide TV advertising campaign —the first time the park reaches prime-time television across Spain.
  • Special opening prices: tickets from just €34 on the first weekends (March 7, 8, 14 & 15).
On top of that, the park has received environmental approval for its major expansion project: three new hotels with 426 rooms and an expected 280,000+ overnight stays per year, together with multimillion-euro investments in future shows (the first one planned for 2027).Crowned Europe’s Best Theme Park by the World Travel Awards, Puy du Fou España has become a key driver for tourism in Castilla-La Mancha and Spain’s cultural tourism sector.
